Fans attack Club Officals

The Pro-league has just entered its fourth round..it is still early days to predict which club will be crowned champions and the slot to campaign in the money spinning CAF Champion league won by Eyimba FC of Aba, the first by a Nigerian clubside. But even as most clubs are yet to find their rhythm, fans are are becoming restive....they are demanding that their clubs perform....nothing wrong with that. But is attacking clubs officials the answer?

Most Pro-league games are played with very, very scanty crowds watching. and these attacks on club officials and supporters are not helping matters.

What measures should be taken to check these ugly trend? Last season violent scenes were witnessed in Akure, Kano, Jos and Oghara, etc. Should the Police ban known trouble makers from the stadium?

i think the police should ban those that are involved in these and not only that, searching of every individual that comes to the stadium should be introduced bcos i wonder why touts with marijuana in their pockets should be allowed in the stadium,i wonder why a section of touts in the stadium should be allowed.and i'll like the police to step up and work for the protection of people's life bcos they know all these that is happening in the stadium, they should copy from the european police and i'll like the n.f.a to do something good about these for we don't want to hear another igenawari george's story.thanks

IT'S HIGH TIME WE TRANSFORM OUR FOOTBALL HOUSE. WE HAVE NOT BEEN PROFESSIONAL ENOUGH IN RUNNING OUR FOOTBALL. FOOTBALL IS A VERY LUCRATIVE BUSINESS IF IT'S RUN PROFESSIONAL. PROFESSIONALLY IN THE SENSE THAT, THE INFRASTRUCTURE SHOULD BE IN PLACE SO THAT THE INVESTORS CAN HAVE A FREE MIND OF SPONSORING OUR SPORTS. I ASSUME THE BEST PEOPLE ARE NOT BEING EMPLOYED TO RUN OUR FOOTBALL AND OTHER SPORTS IN GENERAL. WE NEED TO RESUFFLE THE FOOTBALL HOUSE SO THAT THE BEST AND QUALIFIED CANDIDATE SHOULD BE THERE TO MAN OUR FOOTBALL ADMNINISTRATION.

THIS IS TOO BAD MY FELLOW BROTHERS AND SISTERS,
PLEASE RETHINK IN YOUR DOINGS, BECAUSE YOU MAY BECOME AN OFFICIAL OF A CLUB SIDE TOMMOROW, THEN I DONT KNOW WHAT YOU WILL EXPECT THE FAN TO DO THEN TO YOU.
RETHINK NOW.
GOD BLESS YOU AS YOU DO THIS.

Hi,
In my own opinion, it's high time we(stakeholders, NFA, Club officials, Sport Ministry, Fans, Match Officials, Media, etc)arose onto our varying responsibilities in moving the Nigerian Soccer(home and abroad)forward. It's apparent and imperative to find divers crimes and lapses in the football systems even in other parts of the continent, European and the Southern American. It's only a matter of differences in the kind of challenges faced by each sporting arenas and polity.

Nevertheless, the case of Nigeria should stand-out as a watchword for other sporting arenas and associations positively in terms of integrity, right infrastructure, patrioticism, solidarity, fairness of chances among administrators and parastatals, capped-up with excellence (in responsibilities and qualifications)among various sporting departments in the country.

We all need to imbibe and implement the act and attitude of working towards a prominent Nigerian Sports, an exceptional but bright future, not wishing but demonstrating the best for Nigeria. With these few hints; we can more than just a dream say that: OUR NIGERIA IS WITHOUT DOUBT,THE GIANT OF AFRICAN SPORTS (FOOTBALLINCLUSIVE).

God Bless Nigeria, her Athletes, all Nigerians and her posterity.
Archiyoung,
Nigeria.

It is high time the fans are taught the rules of the game and how to follow their darling teams without violence. The NFA,NFL and the Clubs should organise a symposium to teach the fans what is expected of them as good followers of their respective clubs, when their teams are winning, drawing and loosing games.

fan attack on club officals is a common thing in a country where its football is stamping its feet on a developing platform. one major thing that needs to be done is puting enough security men at the football match centres and also go a long way in educating fans on the implications throgh various eduction means. this would go a long way in checkmating such menace.

Nigeria is a country blessed with so many football talents, but despite all these, our super Eagles have faded away in the face of big challenges;some said it's because of bad administration on the part of our leaders;but i think the real cause is because our society is bad.

I looked around, but i couldn't find the right answers to some of the problems that have been bedevilling Nigerian football, but i as a young and promising Nigerian,is poised to make a difference in my time; i will make sure that Nigeria become the powerhouse of football in the whole wide world. Considering the avalanche of talents at our disposal, we were supoose to be the one ruling the football world. But be that as it may,i believe that someday,Nigerian football will soar high above the clouds! If you think you are in support of this wonderful initiatives, you can give me a call on this number:08052387736. Nigeria football must retain its pride of place!
