Lack of Fund Threaten Edo Volleyball Preparation

Lack of fund has been threatening Edo volleyball preparation for the forth coming volleyball Club Championship billed for Damaturu next month.

Speaking with nigeriasports.com, Edo State Director of Sports Brown Ebewele disclosed that the team just returned form the just concluded national sports festival held in Abuja early this month and may find it hard to resume training as they are still waiting for approval of fund from the government.

“As you can see we just returned from the national festival and for the team to resume camp immediately may be difficult because we have not received anything from the government but as soon they do the team will resume training,” He said.

He however assured that he would all his best to make sure the team receives all it takes to participate in the competition.
