Nigeria Ports Authority F.C a.k.a Seasiders of Lagos are set to send seven players in to the labour market for poor performances.
The team’s management however refused to disclose the identities of the players so as not to cause bad blood in the team, team manager of the club, Mike Idoko told Nigeriasports.com
In their places, Idoko said the Seasiders would be signing some players from top teams to beef up and get set for the dog fight to escape relegation during the second stanza of the Nigeria premier League.
NPA is lying at the bottom of the table with 18 points from 17 games at the end of the first round of the 2004 season.
They were able to beat three top teams in Iwuanyanwu nationale, Julius Berger and Gabros International in the last weeks of the first round.
In another development the Seasiders will be camping away from the prying eyes of the public soonest to prepare for the second stanza of the league season.
According to Idoko the camp venue is going to be kept secret so as not to give it out to the public.
