Semi finalists emerge in Basketball

As competition reaches climax in the basketball event of the on going national sports festival the men are beginning to be separated from the boys and the ladies from the girls as eight teams book their places in the semi final of the event in both the male and female category.

According to the competition coordinator for basketball Alex Billy Nwajei the four teams that made it to the semi final in the female category are the federal Capital Territory Delta state Lagos state and eighter of Edo or Plateau states depending on the outcome of their last matches.

And in the male category the teams in the semi finals are FCT, Lagos State, Cross River, Rivers and Kaduna.

The semi final matches are expected to commence tomorrow.
