The Arsenal the Insurance football club of Benin is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that they realise their dream of winning this year's premier league in the country.
To achieve their dream the club has so far spent the sum of 70 million naira in the first stanza of the
league so far and are ready to spend a further 70 million naira to prosecute the second stanza, Nigeriasports.com can authoritatively report.
According to the chairman of the club Jackson Ogiuku Obaseki apart from money gotten from the government the club is also devising other means of raising funds to compliment what ever the state governor chief Lucky Nosakhare Igbinedion has given them
Some of the moves in this regard the club chairman stated include selling over five thousand replica
jerseys of the club he presently has at his disposal. And also selling seats in the VIP stand at the Samuel
Osaigbovo Ogbemudia stadium to interested members of the public.
He said that the ultimate objective of the club is to be quoted on the Nigeria stock exchange.
