Chairman of the Nigerian football league board Chief Oyuki Obaseki says the premier league, which is three weeks old has improved a lot compared to last season.
Obaseki speaking at the finals of the MFM cup expressed his satisfaction at the standard on display by the teams and also the refrees were commended for their quality officiating.
Obaseki gave reasons for the improvement of officiating in the league to the increase in the amount payed to the refrees in the league.
he also commented on Kaduna United leading on the league table saying the team deserved it because of the quality of their game and that they had been in the league before.
Obaseki concluded by expressing his view on the number of away wins in the NIgerian league saying "its a sign of improvement all round",.
