Nigerians pray for Dream Team IV

In the spirit of football, which is a major uniting force in Nigeria,

Everybody all over the country and in the Diaspora at large has embarked in a prayer session for God to see the Dream Team IV through the finals of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Soccer competition as it plays with its Argentine opponent at the wee hours of Saturday 23rd August, 2008 in far away China.
Coach Siasa’s lead team to the Olympic is Nigeria’s only consolation as the country which took a large number of both sports men and officials to the land of the SIAN Tigers could not in any means give the country a medal apart from the dream team which we all are sure is going to do the country proud by not only winning a medal but a Gold Medal in the mean’s soccer event-By the Grace of God. Although Blessing Okagbare chances of winning a medal in the female lung jump event at the expanse of the Ukrainian who was disqualified for doping the female 4 x 400m relay team, are also there to do the country proud.
What a funny outing for Nigeria, the giant of Africa, where countries like Kenya, South Africa, and even little Togo can at least boast for a medal, Nigeria is yet to clinch any medal. I still doff my HAT for Coach Osibio anf his Dream Team IV for wiping Nigerians tears.
