Malawian Officials for SA, Nigeria Match

World football –governing body, FIFA has appointed Malawian officials to take charge of next month’s World Cup qualifying match between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.

The two countries clash at the Telkom Park in Port Elizabeth on Saturday, 6<SUP>th</SUP> September, starting from 15:00 hours South Africa time (14:00 hours Nigeria time), in a FIFA World Cup/African Nations Cup qualifying cracker.

 

Nigeria’s Super Eagles won the first encounter between the two teams, on Day One of the qualifying series, 2-0 at the National Stadium, Abuja, with first half goals from Ikechukwu Uche and Obinna Nwaneri.

 

Mr Verson Lwanja will be Center Referee, with compatriots Moffat Champiti (Assistant Referee 1), Michael Makoto (Assistant Referee 2) and Robert Kalyoto Ngosi (Fourth Official) helping out. The Referee Assessor is Ali Hafidh from Tanzania while Kenyan Titus Mutuku Kasuve is the Match Commissioner.
