Arubi, DSBBA Chairman, Boguns passed on

The Nigeria basketball scene recorded two quick death last week as former Ebun Comets basketball official Babatunde ‘Boguns’ Oguntula and Chairman of the Delta State Basketball Association, Charles Arubi passed on last Tuesday and Friday.

Both men contributed active role in the development of Nigeria basketball before their untimely death last week.

Oguntula, a one time official of former Nigeria league champion, Ebun Comets basketball club was also a FIBA certified statistician, he will surely be missed for his robust analysis of the game died of Leukemia.

Arubi on the other hand was a former Secretary of Dodan Warriors basketball club and chairman Delta State Basketball Association was reported to have died of cardiac arrest.
