The Nigeria Football Association Tuesday directed that a one –minute silence must be observed at all four venues hosting the Coca-Cola/FA Cup quarter final matches today, in honour of the late Chief Executive of TQA Communications, Mr Osayande Osunde.
The debonair marketing consultant, who worked tirelessly for several years to nourish the relationship between the NFA and Coca-Cola, especially on the FA Cup competition, passed on last weekend after protracted illness.
“That is the least we can do for such a man. He was a suave, energetic and sincere person and we enjoyed the relationship with him. We pray that God Almighty will grant his soul eternal rest”, prayed NFA Secretary General, Honourable Bolaji Ojo-Oba.
Today’s quarter finals matches will see CAF Champions League hot favourites Enyimba FC locking horns with Kano Pillars in Abuja, Bayelsa United up against Gombe United in Akure, Ocean Boys clashing with Insurance FC in Jalingo and Lobi FC and Nassarawa United squaring up in Calabar.
