Adolescent Health & Information Programme (AHIP) basketball club of Kano ends its road-trip game to the Atlantic Conference of the Nigeria Basketball Federation; NBBF organized Premier League Saturday after playing six-day non-stop matches winning two and losing four games.
The Kano-based side started its campaign to the Atlantic conference with an 87-81 points win over Delta Force basketball club of Asaba last Monday at the Sports Hall of the Asaba Township Stadium.
The young side then moved to Lagos last Tuesday with one thing in the mind of the 12 players led by youthful Harry Ezenibe but their gut couple with fatigue as they arrived Lagos few hours to the jump-ball crashing to Nigeria Customs basketball team by 60-49 points (16-07, 12-19, 16-14 and 12-09) to taste defeat for the first time since the premier league dunks-off on April 5 in the Savannah conference.

They were however, not lucky in their remaining three games against Dodan Warriors who shove them aside by 70-56 points (15-09, 18-19, 18-11 and 19-17), the AHIP team kissed the canvass yet again to star-studded Union Bank basketball club by 81-59 points lose losing in all four quarters (18-11, 19-10, 18-14 an 26-24).
And just as the visiting team hope to rap up its campaign with victory on the minds of the players and officials thinking Islanders would be a n easy prey the reverse became the case as the Ogoh Odaudu tutored New-Islanders basketball club shut down the challenge poised by the Kano side winning its first game of the season with widest margin (23 points) the AHIP suffered in their adventure to the Atlantic Conference going down by 76-53 points, winning just the second quarter of the explosive match (14-09) while blowing the rest (25-10, 19-07 and 23-22).
