The trio of First Bank basketball club (Nigeria), Dolphins basketball club (Nigeria) and ABC basketball club (Cote d'Ivoire) have been picked to represent FIBA Africa Zone-3 at the final round of the 13th FIBA Africa Champions Club Cup Competition for Women billed for Maputo, Mozambique.
According to FIBA Africa Zone-3 president, Muktar Khaleh from Nigeria, the decision to pick the three clubs was based on their performance in past finals.
This year's final round of the champions club competition for women holds between October 19 and 28 and the winner will represent Africa at the 2008 FIBA World Club Championship.
