Milan Ace, Gilardino Sets Objectives

The Milan striker Alberto Gilardino is confident for the new season which will soon start and believes that the Rossoneri have what it takes to win all there is to win.

Gilardino is hoping to improve on his past season with the Rossoneri, where he 'only' managed to score 12 goals from the 30 matches played in Serie A.

For this reason, the Italian international striker has been working hard during these first two days of training camp at Milanello.

"Our conditions are very good. We gathered on Monday and there's already the desire to start the new season with great objectives. Therefore, we are preparing ourselves well."

Gilardino is not worried about the possible arrival of a new attacker.

"It is normal that playing at Milan gives great responsibility, and therefore we all know this.

"The entire team knows this and even the offensive department. We work to try and do well, then we shall see what the club will do."

The former Parma player has set his sights on the European Super Cup and the World Club Cup.

"The entire team has a great desire to do well already from August with the European Super Cup, to take back home this trophy.

"Then we can start having a great championship and arrive at December and be in great form for this world cup for clubs. We shall try to take home as many trophies as possible," promised Gilardino.
