Emeordi assure Enugu Fans CAF Ticket.

Rangers International Football of Enugu has finally qualified to the next stage after defeating Nassarawa United FC 1-0 in the on going Coca Cola FA Cup Competition played in Ilorin zone today.

Speaking with nigeriasports.com after the win over Nassarawa FC, the technical Adviser of the team Okay Emeordi disclosed that the team has finally made it to the next round in the competition.

According to him, despite the team's poor performance at the just concluded Super 4 played in Lagos, the players are ready to redeem their image with the FA Cup.

He confirmed that the four teams that were grouped in Ilorin Zone were very strong side, adding that Rangers Int'l made it through the mercy of God.

"It is not easy, the four teams we have here in Ilorin are strong sides, and we did not underrate any of them, we took them seriously as we went to battle against them and I thank God we have finally made it to the next round",
he said.

"We have a good team, despite what happen during the Super 4, we did not give up rather we went back to our drawing board and that is what gave us this good result today. Don't forget that Nassarawa United FC beat Lobi and drew with Enyimba FC but as God was on our side we defeated them and that is football for you, he explained.
