Defending champion, Kennys’ Bullets basketball fortunes deep further as it suffered it fifth straight defeat in the hands of Chariot basketball club with a 57-50 points which has prompted the management to think of a way of addressing the poor run of this once vibrant team chaired by telecommunications guru, Damoye Oyesiku.
In the other game played on Sunday Dodan Warriors continue its warriors-like nature by demolishing Whales basketball club 71-52 points.
Action continues Tuesday with three games on the bill, in the first match of the day two youthful sides Sea Rovers and Warriors Academy will entertain the fans at 2.00pm local time, with Sea Rovers going into the match with a 55-53 points first leg advantage, Kadets and Whales will take their turn in the second game at 3.30pm local time in another game involving upcoming teams in the league.
The last match dubbed “Battle” will be between Dodan Warriors basketball club and Chariot basketball club, though the odds favours the Owoicho Alexander tutored Warriors as his presence on the his team bench will be a sort of psychological warfare for Chariot as he is often involve in the affairs of Chariot but the Chariot players says the game is a must win for them.
