No kid boots for Brazil in Germany

For hot favourites Brazi, every match at the on-going 2006 World Cup Finals in Germany, would be handled and played with no team being looked-upon as kids. According to the chief handler of the South American global soccer kings, Carlos Alberto Peirera, every team would be handled and treated with equal measures.

"There is no favourites at World Cup Finals," Peirera declared on CNN monitored in Lagos this morning.  Favourites are easily defeated and as a result, every match would be treated as a finals.

"We do not want to assume that, we have or are going to win because pundits are predicting in our favour.  And I have told my players that, they should not be complacent in their approach to any of our games at the World Cup Finals.

Brazil, who are the defending champions, are in Group F alongside Australia, Japan and Croatia.  They are expected to square-up against Croatia today in their first outing at the 2006 FIFA World Cup Finals.  Australia are currently leading the Group having defeated Japan 3-1 in their first meeting in the Group yesterday.
