While some Nigerian ball lovers are concerned with the immediate settlement between the Nigeria Football Association, NFA and the Sports Ministry, one man seems to have the solutions to the imbroglio.
That man is Friday Nwankwo Kujah, who strives in the business of the game for his earnings. For Kujah (aka Soccer Ambassador), the first option is for the Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima, head of the FIFA-approved NFA to quit the scene.
“Failure to do so, he could as well be prepared to face the
Sports Ministry head-on in a battle of the credited Nigerian football
administrators – his faction of the FA, or the Sports Ministry’s approved
faction.
“But it must be made clear here that, if Galadima feels that his elections were free and fair, he should not be afraid to heed to the Minister’s call for another elections in Abuja, which is the nation’s capital city.
“Afterall, Dr. Amos Adamu, who is the Director, Sports Development in the Ministry did not hold his Confederation of African Football, CAF elections in place.
He went, saw, contested and won his CAF Seat in far-away Cairo. Everybody knows, except we want to pretend not to, that no one, but Galadima could win the Kano elections,” Kujah argued logically.
He appealed to the Nigerian security agencies to nose deeper into the affairs and running of the FA, “because as it were, it seems to be there are many things and money exchanging hands at the NFA.
Otherwise, what is it that, Galadima left in the Glass House that, he is so bent on getting back there to retrieve.
Many past chairmen had been there and left without any much ado…
why Galadima’s insistence on returning to the FA Board?”
the FIFA players’ agent asked.
