The recently organized National Association of Shotokan Karate (NASK) Open Championship has been described as a breakthrough of sort.
Making this declaration is the Chief Instructor of the body, Alfred Ohimain, who said the association’s activities would continue to move forward henceforth.
Ohimain who also double as the Chairman of the Lagos State Karate Association, LSKA, praised Chevron Nigeria for identifying with the activity of the Shotokan Karate body.
The LSKA top-shot posited that the two-day championship which was held last weekend at the Indoor of the Rowe Park Sports Center, Yaba that Karatekas from Lagos State are now double charged for the 15th National Sports Festival holding in Ogun State next month.
Ohimain who described Karate as a lifetime activities assured Lagosians that his association, LSKA would deliver between four and five gold medals at the Gateway Games for the state.
