In an exclusive interview with nigeriasports.com from his base in Europe,   the rising star told our reporter via phone chat that his agents are already sealing up deals that could see him tie down a contract with one European club in June 2006. It is against this backdrop, that he wants to stage a come- back to Nigeria to help his darling team, Sharks FC, secure a respectable position come 2006 season for just a-six month contract.

Amadi, the 1997 Pepsi Soccer Academy of Nigeria Most-Valuable-Player,  revealed that clubs in Italy and France are on his trail with one from Poland as a sure bet to snap him up.  The former national material to U-14 World Cup in France asserted that his qualities as a known star

However, investigations by nigeriasports.com showed that Sharks FC, the club, Amadi has always prayed to lift a major African trophy, are not keen at releasing their jerseyto him on a platter of gold.

Though, club management are not coming up with any reaction on this issue,  sources close to the soccer side admitted that the utility player had been a houshold name in the nation's youth football and that, the technical crew still wants to look at his performance before contracting gifted Derick Amadi.
