Odili’s CAF Award Gingers Dolphins, Sharks

In order not to dim the glittering profile of award winning Rivers State Governor Peter Odili, whom CAF Officials recently decorated with “Merit of Order of Achievement in Football Development in Africa”.

Garden City pack, Sharks Football Club and sister club, Dolphins also of Port Harcourt have intensified preparations for 2006 premier league, season.

Although Sharks officials are keeping sealed lips about their programmes, reliable sources close to their new camp in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, Informed nigeriasports.com that a couple of friendlies and trial matches have been put in place to sharpen the rough edges.

The source further revealed that with the new spirit in camp, the fans quest and indeed that of Rivers State Government to drink from a continental cup would be a dream come true.

In the same vein, sister club, Dolphins FC, led by Coach Onyedika won one match and drew another against Lobi Stars of Makurdi in a recent tune-up encounter in Calabar.
