Falcons to replay against Banyana

Nigeria’s Women national team, the Super Falcons will play a return leg international friendly match against the Banyana Banyana of South Africa next month, nigeriasports.com can report.

This is according to the Secretary of the Nigeria Football Association Women Football Department, Ann Chukwu who told nigeriasports.com via the telephone recently.

According to Ann Chukwu, the friendly match against the South Africans in Oghara last December was planned to be a two way thing.

“The return leg in South Africa should have held in January but the African Cup of Nations ensured we shifted the game,” Ann Chukwu told nigeriasports.com.

“It is good exposure for the girls and we are looking at getting more friendly games between now and the Africa Women Championships in Gabon.”
