Rivers State born swimmer, Obia Inyengiyikabo ended as the star of the Nigerian Swimming Championships in Port Harcourt with nine gold medals.
On day one of the Championships, Obia also known as Fish grabbed three gold in the fifty metres butterfly, one hundred meters back stroke and two hundred meters medley.
On the second day, she got the gold in the 200 meters back stroke, 100 meters butterfly and 50 meters freestyle events, before capping it up with three more gold medals on the final day of the competition.
Another top performer was Eric Williams of Rivers State, who ended with three gold medals and Gentle Offoin of Bayelsa.
