There are strong indications that Former Super Eagles and Sharks FC Coach Shuaibu Amodu has accepted to lead the Africa Champion of the Champion Enyimba Football Club of Aba in the 2006 CAF Championship billed to kick off next month.
Sources close to the Sole Admistrator of the club Chief Felix Anyansi Egwu told nigeriasports.com that, Amodu left Aba over the weekend with a satisfactory smile on his face as both parties finalized agreements on the team's way forward for this year's CAF and Globacom Premier
League Season.
According to them, Enyimba FC hired the services of the former Sharks FC coach, to enable the team achieve their aim this season in the up-coming CAF football challenges. Our sources maintained that, since Okey Emordi left theteam for Bushbox Football of South Africa, the club had not been able to find any capable coach, who would handle the team until the appearance of Shuaibu Amodu.
"We thank God for Shuaibu's rescue mission to us because we din't even know our left from our right as to who would handle Enyimba this season. Emordi left for South Africa before our match against Dolphin, where we lost 2-0. Could you margin Dolphin beating us 2-0 in Port-Harcourt because there was no coach around for the match?"
"Dike is the assistant coach but he is not as good as Emordi or Shuaibu we have now. As I am talking with you Shuaibu left this town last Sunday to resume training soonest"our impeccable source nailed home confidently.
