New dates for the Nigeria Hockey Federation, NHF Super League Men and Women has been fixed to take place in the Hockey Pitch of the Abuja National Stadium, FCT from January 14 to 21, the secretariat of the federation announced in Lagos.
Secretary general of the federation, JOJ Ochi in a statement , said all states and clubs in the country irrespective of of their division are eligible to participate in the above league, adding that the championship would accommodate 16 male and 8 female clubsides.
Ochi said, by the new dates, arrival for teams is on January 13 with the pre- match meeting set to hold between 7.00pm and 8.00 pm the next day, January 14.
Clubs wishing to participate are also reminded to endeavour to pay their annual affiliation fees or any outstanding fines to the NHF, as failure to meet this condition would make them ineligible to participate.
More than that, becuase of the absence of sponsors, the federation has introduced a participation fee of N20,000 for this championship just all teams are enjoined to include aa NHF accredited Umpires in their delegations
