The source continued that, Eguma had never been respected throughout his coaching career in Port Harcourt until he left to other States and clubs where he has set good results.
"Eguma had been looked down upon in this town as a coach, now he has set good results with other clubs, Rivers State now know that, he is the son of the soil. They now believe he can coach Sharks. As for him, Sharks has been a fourth team on his mind, he has not made up his mind yet whether to handle Sharks or not," he said.
Reacting Stanley also confirmed that, he was not ready to abandon Iwuanyanwu for any club next season; not even Sharks FC. "I don't coach for money, all my coaching career with Gabros FC of Nnewi, Enyimba FC of Aba and now Iwuanyanwu FC of Owerri, I did not ask for money first.
"Rather, I seek for all the support I need to win, which I received the Owerri team, So why will I leave now that we have a continental slot? If am going to handle Sharks next season, it has to be on good understanding and agreement between the two clubs otherwise, no option than to stay with the Owerri team," he said.
