"We must ensure that the female league really establishes and flourishes. Our coaches need to be sent abroad for refresher courses and even attachments to WNBA or College teams, for experience and exposure. There are also more players out there, especially the local ones. Its as both sad and paradoxically interesting that some Nigerian players actually came to play on other countries teams. Would this lead us to what is in football with Togo, where a Nigerian coach and some Nigerian players actually made the difference? Should we watch against such in the near future?
