Nigeria will tomorrow take on Senegal in the grand-finale of the 19th Fiba Africa Championship for Women after seeing off hard fighting Congo DRC in the second semi-final.
The consortium of coaches paraded by the Nigerian side comprises Scott Nnaji, Adewumi Aderemi, Sola Ogunade and Lateef Erinfolami with Ayo Bakare as Technical Adviser proved too much for the Congolese side with first quarter score ending 27-16 points.
The Congo team fourth back in second and third quarters winning 17-15 points and 25-16 points only to go down to the Nigerian side in the fourth and decisive quarter by 20-08 points for a cumulative score of 78-66 points.
Senegal had earlier dicision Mozambique in the first quarter by 66-37 points to set the stage for a final duel against the Nigerian.
Both side have however, booked a 2006 FIBA World Championship ticket billed for Brazil.
