Dolphin's keeper Ejiogu opts for Enyimba FC

Dolphin Football Club of Port Harcourt goal-tender, Chijioke Ejiogu is set to leave for Enyimba Football Club of Aba for the 2006 Globacom Premier League season.

Sources from Enyimba FC confirmed to nigeriasports yesterday in Port Harcourt, that Ejiogu arrived Aba last weekend to negotiate with the management of Enyimba on the terms of his contract for next season.

According to him, both parties are yet to conclude on what the player is asking for. if not too much as sign-on fees, which was still under consideration by the management of Enyimba.

"Ejiogu was in Aba over the weekend to finalize his contract with Enyimba FC, though they could not reach any compromise because the player in question, was asking for too much.

"Although I know Enyimba is capable of paying him whatever he wans, but I think they just want to be on the safe side because players are full of tricks these days.  But as far as I know, Chijioke has indicated his interest in playing for Enyimba next season," he re-affirmed.

Reacting, Ejiogu also confirmed to nigeriasports that he was ready to join any team that is interested in hiring his services, adding that he was ready to play for Enyimba, if they needed him.

"I will render my goal-keeping services to any club that needs me. I did not sign for life with Dolphin, so I can join any club I want. Enyimba is my next hope and I will play there by the grace of God," Ejiogu stressed.
