In order to beef-up team for the challenges ahead in the Nigerian football calender, officials of Dolphin Football Club of Port Harcourt have extended their screening execises till January 5, 2005 at the Liberation Stadium, Elekahia Port Harcourt.
In a chat with nigeriasport in PH, a member of the club, who pleaded anonymity, confidently disclosed that" the club's screening exercises, would last for a ong time to enable them select the best feet for the team for next season's soccer races.
There are players, who may likely not be part of the team for next season and such players, would be replaced with in- coming ones."
He further explained tha,t the club would also take their time in selecting players in order not to make mistakes in picking the wrong eggs.
"We need to take our time because we have too many players within the team and in order to avoid picking the bad ones, we decided to keep together for long so that, we will also settle down and select," our source disclosed.
The source also expressed sadness over the team's inability in picking any CAF Continental ticket this season, adding that they would work harder to survive next year.
