Dolphins camp bubbles ahead of new season

The training session of Dolphins Football club of Port Harcourt was almost disrupted on Wednesday as more than one thousand club-seeking footballers stormed the training pitch of the Port Harcourt Liberation Stadium where Dolphins train, all in a bid to impress new coach, Philip Boamah, and probably get a contract.

However, the coach had to send them away so as to concentrate on the older players in the team.

Dolphins Team Manager, Diepreye Fiberesima told www.nigeriasports.com that the Chief Coach had to send them all away so he could concentrate on the old players in the team.

Philip Boamah had to recall all players including those sacked by the former coach, Stanley Eguma, because, he did not sack them and wanted to ascertain their form before making a final decision.

Fiberesima said, the Coach would only ask the new players to come back when he is through with the older ones.

"I'm really enjoying the atmosphere in the camp right now. The players know they must give their best if they will be picked by the coaches so every one is working hard."
