Despite denial of reports that Dophins and Sharks FC technical heads were being touted for changes, Shuaibu Amodu would soon tender his letter of resignation to the Rivers States sports commissioner, Allwell Onyesoh.
The technical manager of Sharks FC, had sent the letter to the chief security of Government House for onward hand-over to Governor Peter Odili but, was asked to pass it through the sports commissioner's office.
Chief Onyesoh and his Personal Assistant on media matters, Dickson Iwarimie had earlier denied in separate interviews as speculative and untrue, moves to replace coach Musa Abdullahi of Dolphins FC and Amodu Shuaibu of sharks FC.
In about two hours phone chat, Chief Onyesoh told nigeriasports.com that their immediate challenge was to help Dolphins secure one of the continental slots in the out-going premiership season.
He added that since 2004 Conferderation Cup campaign had been rounded up with Dolphins placing second behind Royal Armed Forces of Morrocco, and with about 52 points and one outstanding match for Dolphins, his ministry would do their best to help sports- loving people of Rivers State nick a continental slot to wrap up this season.
