Sambawa issues Boxing Federation Scribe ultimatum

No facility in the National Stadium, Lagos infuriated the Sports Minister, Samaila Sambawa so much pain in the sight, as the deplorable state in which he met the Bria Ayonete Boxing Gymnasium. Though yet to be completed, the facility and the air around begged for at least, a little attention...a state the minister was quick enough to recognize and pronto, addressed.

Apart from the misery looks painted on the walls of the gymnasium, the Minister noticed that, the facility was also being used as a church by a religious sect...a disturbing development, to which the Sambawa could not conceal in his breast pockets of his suits. Moving up straight, he stared steely into the eyeballs of the Stadium Manager, Ahmed Jumare for an explanation on why the Boxing Gymnassium, meant for the training of boxers, should be converted into a house of worship.

In a military-like response, Jumare told the Minister of his innocence and went on further, to inform the minister that, it could be the handiwork of the former Secretary-General of the Federation, Mr. Gbiri, who has been redeployed to another Federation. Far from being impressed, the Minister sent for the current Scribe, Mr. Caleb Gidado.

Like the Stadium Manager, Gidado made efforts to establish his innocence, but was unsuccessful in his bid. The mininster therefore ordered the immediate vacation of the Gym. by the church...informing Gidado that, he would still be in Lagos and any attempt to comply with his directive, would be met with an immediate sack of the Scribe.
