Abdulrahman saves the day for Customs’

Customs basketball club of Lagos have star player, Abdulrahman Mohammed to thank for saving them from an embarrassing defeat in the hand of less experience Delta Force basketball club of Asaba on Sunday.

The match was the third game for both sides in the ongoing Atlantic conference leg of the Nigeria Basketball Federation, NBBF championship tagged, ‘The VMOBILE Challenge’. The match though appear to be the first that would be decided via overtime with scores standing at 54 points apiece with less than six seconds left but for the ingenuity of D’Tigers shooting guard who mount ceaseless pressure on the coach Lateef Erinfolami tutored Asaba based Delta team in the dying seconds of the encounter which resulted in him being fouled and gaining free throws which he converted as they come to end the encounter 62-58 points (20-13), (13-13), (10-19) and (19-13) for their second straight win thus keeping the team final-6 hope alive.
