Ozurumba slams Enyimba

The latest Iwuanyanwu Nationale 'hatchet' man, Chibuzor Ozurumba said he left African Champions Enyimba International due to sentiments in the big club which left so many players in the star studded team idle and surplus to requirent.

Speaking to nigeriasports.com recently in Owerri, Ozurumba said he had to run back to Nationale where he is sure of action before his career is ruined.

According to him, he was a regular player during the days of coach Miroslav Urukalo but in the absence of the foreign tactician he was abandoned.

"I left Enyimba because of favouritism which left my career hanging in the club. When Urukalo was there, he uses me as his best striker and when he left, I was no longer the favourite, so, I had to leave and go back to Nationale where I can see action",

"Somebody like me at this period of my career, if they had allowed me to play four straight matches, they would have seen my best. But they never allowed that instead they use me as substitute. Bring me in six minutes to the end of a game and tat is if they remember me at all",

"It was quite painful and frustrating and such is not good for a player like me at this time. That was why I left. I started training with Nationale since week three, hoping and praying for my release from Enyimba".
