Media Officer of Sharks Football club of Port Harcourt, Cyril Dum Wite has told nigeriasports.com that it is ridiculous for the management of Nasarawa United to say they are investigating the side’s 4-0 zero loss to Sharks some weeks ago in Port Harcourt.
After the 4-0 loss at the Sharks Stadium, the Coaching crew of NAsarawa United were accused of selling out the match to the Port Harcourt based side.
Wite however, told nigeriasports.com that the management of Lafia based club should not dissipate their energy on what is not necessary.
“It is in our own character to play according to the rules and our motto is essentially about fair play.” Wite told nigeriasports.com.
Wite also reminded the Nasarawa management that in the game against Sharks, their club did not take a single shot at goal and added that the tactical prowess of Amodu Shaibu was on showcase that day and their coaches had no answer to them.
“Proper planning win the match for us, but Nasarawa should look for a solution to their deficiency and not try to heap blames on others.”
He reminded that ever since that loss to Sharks, Nasarawa United has not picked any point, losing twice at home to Rangers and Enyimba and have lost four away games.
nigeriasports.com can report that the coaching crew of the club were given a three match ultimatum to perform or be thrown out and have lost two of those three matches.
