Enyimba still intact

The management of the two time African champions, Enyimba International Football Club of Aba has said that the anticipated mass exodus of players did not affect the peoples Elephant. Speaking to nigeriasports.com on phone, the Club's media officer, Tonnex Chukwu said more than 25 of the regular team players are already in camp.

According to him, the team is still in tact and to avoid future disappointments had gone to the transfer market to make some purchases.

"We threw open our doors to players who want to try elsewhere. We quite appreciate them so much for what they did in the last two seasons and would not want to hold tight on them. That will be selfishness."

"More than 25 of the regular players are in camp already. Those who are not present are assumed to be those wishing to leave and they are free. We equally know that some of them in the camp may have clubs that will come for them, we are prepared for all these developments,

"We have been to the transfer market and filled all noticeable lapses and loopholes in the team. We are very prepared to defend the champions league and possibly reclaim the Globacom premier league title".
