Jaja, Onyesoh Hail Dolphin FC

The president of the Nigeria Referee Association Dr Sam Sam Jaja and the former Sports commissioner of River State Allwell Onyesoh have told nigeriasports.com that Dolphin FC of Port Harcourt are worthy league Champions. Iwuanyanwu FC of Owerri 4-0 to clinch the 2004 league title.

Dolphin FC dazzled Iwuanyanwu FC 4-0 to top the league table as well as picking CAF Continental ticket for 2005.

Speaking with nigeriasport in Port Harcourt, Jaja expressed joy over the players ability of doing the
state proud in this years league.

“Am so happy with Dolphin FC, with what l saw them play I think they really made us proud. They have
proved to us they are ready to represent us in Africa and I wish them the best,” Jaja said.

“With what I saw them play today, I gave them pass mark and I can say they are the best team now in the Nigerian league,” he said.

In the same view Allwell Onyesoh also assured that with what the Dolphin FC played against Iwuanyanwu FC that they would get all support they need for their Continental campaign next year.

“Since the boy’s have qualified to play in the Continent, I will put all effort to make sure they
get every support they need to achieve their aims,” he promised.

Onyesoh confirmed that the state government has also assured on the financial aspect of the competition.
