Ajetumobi beat Merotoun to Ojez title

Nigeria’s rising table tennis star, Seun Ajetumobi last Friday confirm his superiority over Monday Merotoun in the grand finale of the first O’jez Table Tennis Championship via a 4-1 set victory at the Sports Hall of the Lagos National Stadium which makes many pundit to doubt the ability of the Nigeria No. 3 ranked player (Merotoun) to go far at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

Lolia Kienka wins right to challenge senior player

IEI Port Harcourt Junior Open: Lolia Kienka, 15, Friday in Port Harcourt won the right to challenge Christy Agugbom the number six ranked female player in Nigeria by winning all her round robin matches, the last against Aminat Quadri whom she beat 9-5.
