Delta Queens begins well

Ilorin: FCT Queens of Abuja survived a deadly ambush by Oladimeji Tigress to split the points in .Two penalty kicks awarded and five yellow cards flashed on the visitors failed to weaken their spirits.
“It was unbelievable” lamented FCT Queens Team Manager Deacon Nuhu Goro Shadalafiyah. “ We were not allowed to touch the ball. Betty(Osayawe) caught one penalty kick and the other was blown over the bar. Any dangerous move by my players earned them a yellow card but we are still on course,” he said. FCT Queens will play host to Waheed Queens next Friday.
Port-Harcourt: Cash-strapped Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt drew goaless against Sunshine Queens of Akure in their opening tie to put a big question mark on their Super Six chances.
