Inneh Queens fight NFA over players![]() nigeriasports.com reports that the Benin based club is in distress after more than two thirds of their squad left leaving only five to prosecute the 2004 season. "The NFA has not done well at all, a Club official told nigeriasports.com. "After all they ruled that no player can leave until after fulfilling a two year contract. Is that how they want to run football in the country?" Inneh Queens plan to make sure the said players do not feature for any club this season since they have flaunted the rules. "We know they may not play for us but we will make sure they do not play for any other club this season." The club Inneh Queens were saved by the magnanimity of the female football department of the Nigeria Football Association who collected their registration papers on Monday, the 24th of May, five days after the registration deadline of 19th May expired. Two of their players- Ngozi Dialla and Ogonna Chukwudi joined Rivers Angels while six, including Cynthia Uwak, Akpantu, Racheal Ayegba, Edith Eduviere and Lawrenta Sogoe are with FCT Queens of Abuja. Lydienne Njolle is now with Bayelsa Queens of Yenagoa while Cameroonian import, Bella Francois joined Pelican Stars of Calabar Officials of Inneh queens used the just concluded national sports festival to pick players to beef up the squad after the mass exodus of players; about five players dropped from FCT after the sports festival found solace with the Benin club, while eleven joined the club from Lagos just last Saturday.
