Former International, Uwem Ekarika has been appointed by Governor Donald Duke of Cross River State as the Technical Adviser of professional league division one side, Calabar Rovers Football Club. Government House sources said in Calabar that in a major reshuffling of the Club’s Management Committee, Paul Edum, formerly the Club’s Team Manager has been replaced by Ita Okokon while former Super Eagles keeper, Etta Egbe retains his position as Chief Coach of the Club.

Also, Paul Undelikwo has been named Coach of Rovers Feeder Team while Alabi Oke is the Club Trainer.

Governor Duke has also appointed Dr. Agan as the Team Doctor while Ekpenyong Achibong is Team Nurse.  Bassey Eyo will serve as the Curator.
Chairman of Calabar Rovers Management, Victor Okon confirmed that the letter conveying these changes, which was signed by the Chief of Staff to the State Governor, was delivered to the Club on Monday.

“We have received His Excellency’s letter communicating the changes in the Management.  We
believe that the Governor means well for the Club, that is why he has effected these changes,” he said.
