Enyimba players unite against Petro

New spirit in Enyimba
Players of Enyimba football club of Aba rose from a meeting Thursday promising the club management of a new lease of life.

The players who spoke in one voice promise to return to winning ways starting with the Caf champions’ league game against visiting Angolan side, Petro Athletico on Sunday.

Nigeriasports.com reliably gathered that poor string of results in the local league and the close shave against ASC Diaraf in the last round spurred the new spirit in Aba.

“Sunday’s game will return Enyimba to their rightful place in the league and on the continent” the players informed the management.

Delighted Sole administrators of the side, Felix Anyansi-Agwu praised the players and promise them of financial windfall as they progress in the competition.

Meanwhile, the club on Friday says ticket for Sunday’s tie goes for #500.00 (five hundred naira) about $3.50.

Its a cheering news to hear that enyinmba players are just realising the daunting task ahead of them. Their kill-joy may however turn out to be the technical crew. there is an urgent need to ensure that all hands are on deck to ensure victory with a wide margin in this first leg.
