In a separate letter to the LOC the Bayelsa state commissioner for sports Hon .Ebitimi K. Angbare confirmed that the state contingent were accompanied by four mobile policemen, and not Egbesu boys as reported in some national dailies.
Honourable Amgbare frowned at the publication, which described the policemen as Egbesu boys, adding that the question of the state government providing escort for the contingent should commended not condemned.
