Ogba keeps mum

The honourable commissioner for sports Delta state chief Solomon Ogba has decided to put a stop to the verbal war going on between him and Edo state director of sports Mr Brown Ebewele and concentrate on the activities that brought him to Abuja.

Speaking to nigeriasports.com at the National stadium sports complex the sports administrator maintained a silent position on latest development on the medals table where Delta is trailing behind Lagos with three gold medals placing third while Edo is leading with twelve gold medals followed by Lagos with four gold medals.

According to him what is required now is not talking but concentration.” I don’t want to talk now. May be Sunday or Monday I will but definitely not now. By then we must have watched all the events and know our strengths and weaknesses and what to talk about”, he said.

But for Edo director Mr Ebewele, the festival is won and lost.  “We are winning. There is no contest and that is why they desperate. You can see what is happening here or are you not seeing?

Because of the confusion created already  I am calling on the M O C of the festival to call for an emergency meeting of all leaders of delegation to lay the cards on the table for this secretaries because they are the ones collecting money and causing confusion all over the place”, he alleged..
