Edo denies cheating

Following the superlative performance of the state's gymnasts in the gymnastics event, the Commissioner of sports ‘Edo State, Hon (Bar) Ken Ihensekhian has stated that the state was well on course to achieving it's aim of topping the medals table at the end of the National Sports Festival.

He also informed Nigeriasports.com that great performance will automatically erase notion that they cheated to win the last edition of the festival which she hosted.

According to honourable Ihensekhien, the success story of Edo State athletes can be attributed only to hard work and the level of motivation given to them by the state government.
