Invisible media centre

Journalists covering the on-going national sports festival are lamenting over the non-availability of a Media Centre to collate results and carry out their reportorial duties.

According to some of the journalist, there is no central place where results are collated and sending reports from the federal capital (Abuja) is killing.

“We got to the Media Centre and found out it was locked, a LOC staff says electrical repairs is going on in the centre” says Kehinde of NTA Akure.

“This might be the worst organised games in recent past. How do they expect us to cover every single event since there is no central place where results are collated” he told Nigeriasports.com

Demola of Rhythm Abuja laments on the poor manner of stadium management in Nigeria. “It’s a shame that a facility that hosted the all Africa games less than a year ago can host the sports festival and there is no media centre for the journalists to use”

Nigeriasports.com reliably gathered that organisers are doing all they could to put the Media centre in order to avoid a clash with the bitter journalists.
