Ezeobi assures Enugu Gold Speaking with nigeriasports.com, Ezeobi says she is very optimistic of putting the state on the medals table when her games kicks off tomorrow in the main Hall of the sports complex. According to her, the state is expecting so much of her. “I know how much expectation in the heart of the people of Enugu state and I will not disappoint” she boasted. Ezeobi stressed that the poor welfare packages other athletes are crying over will not affect her focus and determination. “We are not earning big money like every other state but my zeal and passion will get me where I want to be” she added “Doing very well here will attract attention and I can realise my dream of winning a gold medal and representing Nigeria” she concluded.
