Musa Abdullahi recounts robbery ordeal![]() Narrating the unfortunate incidence to nigeriasports.com in Abeokuta on Thursday, the former national U-23 coach said the robbery took place some minutes before the week 17 Globacom league tie at home to Niger Tornadoes on Sunday and that the way and manner it was executed left him seriously bewildered. "I was just lying down on bed thinking about the game at hand and I just saw two guys come in with pistols and they immediately demanded for money. Before I knew what was happening, they started taking everything in sight. I also discovered that one of them was outside pointing a gun at the receptionist and another one was guiding the next door to mine. From the look of things, there must have been others at the gate", he lamented. When asked if he can ascertain how many valuables he lost to the robbery, the 2001 U-17 world cup silver winning coach, said all the robbers carted away must be worth close to a million naira. "To start with, they took away seven hundred thousand naira in cash and a Nokia 6600 phone and every other thing at sight like shoes, wrist watches and cloths. Some of them I had not even put on before", a visibly downcast Ugoja born coach disclosed to Nigriasports.com. The Atlanta 1996 gold medallist would however not reveal the name of the hotel but according to him, it was going to be an unforgettable experience. "I will never forget how the whole thing happened because I never expected it. I have since put it behind me to continue with my life pursuits but it would forever linger on in my memory", he concluded. It would be recalled that the coach was also attacked in a similar circumstance by robbers on his way to his hometown in Lokoja from Abuja some time ago. Reports by Opatola Adewole in Abeokuta. 0
