Para-Soccer kicks off

The fixtures for the Para-soccer matches of the national sports festival have been released just as the competition got underway Thursday.

Secretary-General of the Para-Soccer Federation of Nigeria, Mr Mohammed Baba Abdulahi inform Nigeriasports.com that  a total of nine states have entered for the competition and have been drawn in three groups.

Group A has Kaduna, FCT, and Sokoto; Group B is made up of Lagos, Rivers, and Katsina, while Kano, Bauchi, and Plateau states make up group C.

In the first match played this afternoon at the old parade ground in Abuja, host FCT thrashed Kaduna state 6-0.
