Delta State in great start

Governor Ibori is following events in Abuja

Delta state athletes in the on going national sports festival have given strong indications that they mean to make do their boast of topping the medals table in this year’s edition of the games with the superlative results they've recorded so far in the cycling event which entered it's second day today.

At the close of activities in the cycling event on Thursday, Delta had won three gold medals; one yesterday and two today to soar away at the top of the medals table for now.

Nigeriasports.com reliably gathered from some of the Delta State athletes that Governor James Ibori is closely following events in Abuja, as he is always in constant touch through the Mobile phone with some of the Delta state officials
